Job summary

Cox Purtell is seeking a Senior IP Networking Engineer in Sydney (Rosebery) to support APAC clients in broadcast and live event tech. This hands-on role focuses on TCP/UDP, VLANs, multicast and PTP, with mentoring responsibilities for the APAC team.

You will work onsite with free parking, collaborating across regional offices, providing escalation support and acting as a technical lead on complex IP networking issues.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on IT/IP networking experience covering TCP/UDP, VLANs, multicast and PTP.
• Cisco knowledge is highly regarded.
• Experience in broadcast, pro-audio or media/OT tech is advantageous.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and leading where appropriate.
• CRM experience, Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IP networking support for APAC customers on complex cases.
• Mentor and support APAC engineers, sharing expertise.
• Escalate and manage sensitive customer relationships, including SLA matters.
• Engage with Salesforce case follow-up and processes.
• Travel to regional offices and trainings as needed.
