Cox Purtell Staffing Services is sourcing an experienced Network Engineer for a Sydney-based role in infrastructure and network engineering. The role covers international LAN/WAN and security for APAC, with ownership of data centre deployments and firewall design.

The candidate will apply infrastructure as code, perform Unix administration tasks, and report to the Senior Network Engineering Lead. On-site in Sydney, not remote.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior network engineering experience.
• Hands-on design and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN environments.
• Experience with multi zone firewall architectures and data centres.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on box network engineering across complex LAN/WAN environments.
• Support data centre deployments across the APAC region.
• Design and maintain multi zone firewall architectures.
• Apply infrastructure as code to network systems.
• Provide Unix systems administration support adjacent to networks.
