Vanguard Australia is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join the BCAS team. You will perform risk-based audits, evaluate internal controls and influence senior management to improve the control environment, collaborating with partner groups across divisions.

The role requires three years of business experience in audit or risk, an undergraduate degree in business, and strong data analytics and communication skills.

Qualificações

• Undergraduate degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• Professional certification (CA ANZ / CIA) is a plus; advanced degree valued.
• Minimum of three years in audit, risk or controls within financial services.
• Experience with Australia’s financial services regulatory requirements across banking, asset managers and super funds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with multiple responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Perform risk-based audits and consulting on risk, governance, process, technology, controls and operations.
• Discuss progress with management and identify opportunities to strengthen processes and remediation.
• Engage in client discussions assessing risk and effectiveness of controls and encourage collaboration across teams.
• Prepare high-quality work papers and client deliverables including narratives, flowcharts and recommendations.
• Apply industry standards and regulatory considerations to advise business management.
• Contribute to special projects and department initiatives as needed.
