Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced internal auditors to help train AI models on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy across monthly close processes, audit documentation, and financial controls, all while contributing to the refinement of AI-generated outputs.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in corporate accounting or audit support, deep GAAP knowledge, and mastery of Excel/Sheets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate accounting, financial operations, or audit support with hands-on ownership of close reconciliations and audit schedules.
• Deep fluency in GAAP and PBC documentation standards; strong spreadsheet-based control testing.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle monthly close reconciliations and journal entry packages.
• Prepare audit request schedules and PBC documentation.
• Produce and review accounts payable/receivable aging reports.
• Create budget-to-actual variance summaries.
• Document internal controls walkthroughs and SOX testing memos; maintain vendor/expense audit trails.
