Job summary

Marchese Partners | Life3A is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead project delivery from concept to completion in our Sydney Interior Design Studio. You will collaborate with clients, stakeholders and project teams to translate creative vision into functional, visually stunning spaces.

The role requires a minimum of 8 years' studio experience in Australia, a degree/diploma in Interior Design or Architecture, and strong FF&E knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of studio experience in interior design in Australia.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture is required.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and FF&E processes.
• Experience developing and managing client relationships.
• Portfolio showcasing multi-residential and high-end interiors is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in seniors living and high end residential.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept development for interior design schemes across multiple sectors.
• Prepare high‑quality documentation, boards, and technical drawings (Revit).
• Develop innovative space planning layouts for multi‑residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Liaise with clients to understand needs, present concepts, and refine details.
• Coordinate with external consultants and FF&E suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate interior design with architectural concepts.

Your Role

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play an essential role in leading projects from concept to delivery across multiple sectors. You will collaborate with our key clients, stakeholders and project teams to deliver exceptional design, upholding the standard expected by our clients. you will help translate creative visions into practical, functional, and aesthetically stunning design solutions. Your input into the strategic growth of the interior design division will be sought.

• Concept Development: Contribute to the conceptualisation and development of interior design schemes, ensuring alignment with client briefs and project goals.
• Design Documentation: Prepare high-quality documentation, including material boards, mood boards, and technical drawings, using Revit.
• Space Planning: Develop innovative and functional space planning layouts for multi-residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Client Communication: Liaise with clients to understand their needs, present design concepts, and refine details to achieve project objectives.
• Consultant Coordination: Work closely with external consultants and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selections.
• Project Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to integrate interior design with overall architectural concepts.
