Qualifications

• ArchiCAD experience is highly desirable; open to other software backgrounds with strong documentation capability.

They are looking to bring an experienced Senior Interior Designer into the business to take ownership of the interiors function and play a key role in shaping the look, feel and design quality of their residential projects.

This is a newly created position, offering the right person the opportunity to make the role their own, establish processes and standards, and have genuine influence over the company's interior design offering.

The Opportunity

This is an ideal opportunity for a highly capable Senior Interior Designer who is looking to move in-house and have greater ownership over projects from concept through to completion.

Working closely with the leadership and broader design and construction teams, you will be responsible for developing interior design concepts, material palettes, finishes and selections across a range of bespoke residential projects.

The role will primarily focus on high-end residential homes and smaller-scale residential renovations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the interior design process across a range of bespoke residential projects
• Develop interior concepts, material palettes, finishes and selections that align with each client's brief
• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, preferences and lifestyle
• Work closely with the construction team to ensure design intent is maintained through delivery
• Bring fresh ideas and a strong design perspective to the business
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high standard of design quality
• Contribute to a collaborative, design-led culture within the wider business

About You

• 7+ years' experience within interior design, ideally across high-end residential projects
• Strong experience delivering residential interiors from concept through to documentation and selections
• A strong understanding of materials, finishes, joinery, fixtures and fittings
• Excellent design sensibility and a highly considered approach to residential interiors
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• The ability to manage projects independently and take ownership of outcomes
• Strong documentation and technical capability

Software ArchiCAD experience is highly desirable, however, the firm is open to candidates coming from other software backgrounds, provided they have strong technical and documentation capability and are comfortable adapting to new systems.
