Job summary

Hatch in Perth is seeking a Lead Instrumentation and Control Engineer to drive the delivery of I&C engineering across major projects. You will lead a disciplined team, develop design deliverables, and contribute to capital estimates and schedules to ensure safe, efficient project outcomes.

Applicants should hold an engineering degree with CPEng status or equivalent, have sector experience in mining/metals or related heavy industries, and participate in HAZOP/CHAZOP reviews while maintaining

Qualifications

A degree in engineering with demonstrated experience commensurate with CPEng status.
Experience in the mining/metals sector or heavy industries such as energy and infrastructure.
Knowledge of instrumentation and control standards and design procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Participation in formal engineering reviews such as HAZOPs and CHAZOPs.

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the successful delivery of the Instrumentation and Control engineering scope.
Provide leadership and create a highly committed and aligned team environment.
Develop discipline design and associated engineering deliverables for feasibility studies and detailed engineering.
Provide input into capital estimates and project schedules.
Contribute as input to multi-discipline project teams.
Participate in engineering reviews such as HAZOPs and CHAZOPs.
