Job summary

Veeam Software is seeking a Senior Inside Systems Engineer to join our Australia/NZ Systems Engineering team. This hybrid role supports customers, partners, and end users with pre‑sales guidance, product demonstrations, and architectural input to accelerate adoption of Veeam technologies.

You will partner with Inside Sales to evangelise data protection, cyber resilience and AI‑driven data intelligence, deliver technical content and POCs, and travel up to 15% as required across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales for an IT software vendor or partner.
• Familiarity with Veeam Data Cloud and Data Platform technologies.
• Knowledge of virtualization and cloud-native technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Position Veeam products with sales teams to identify and win opportunities.
• Deliver web-based and on-site demonstrations to prospects and customers.
• Implement and manage Proofs of Concepts (POCs) to closure.
• Act as technical advisor and provide pre-sales support.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and training to partners and internal teams.
• Stay current with Veeam product developments and industry trends.
