Job summary

Veeam is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to act as a technical leader and strategic owner of customer outcomes in complex enterprise environments. You will embed within enterprise teams to design, deploy, and scale data, security, and AI platforms across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in a customer-facing technical role with ownership of architecture and delivery.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise infrastructure.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, containers, and Linux systems.
• Advanced scripting/automation skills (Python, JavaScript).
• Experience designing large-scale system integrations using APIs.
• Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and unstructured data systems.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy, governance and compliance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead complex, multi-phase deployments across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem environments.
• Drive end-to-end customer outcomes from architecture through production scale.
• Embed as a senior technical stakeholder within customer engineering and leadership teams.
• Lead architecture workshops, design sessions, and executive-level technical discussions.
• Guide data pipeline design, ETL processes, and system interoperability at scale.
• Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices across the organization.
