Job summary

Commvault is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join the Federal Sales Team. You will lead pre‑sales engagements, provide technical leadership, and translate business challenges into architectural solutions.

Collaborate with account teams, deliver product demonstrations, engage with C‑suite stakeholders, and enable partners. A deep knowledge of cloud platforms, data management, software licensing, and MEDDPICC is essential.

Remote Australia-based role with global impact.

Qualifications

8+ years in software or storage industries.
10+ years in a pre‑sales engineer role.
Security clearance (NV1 or higher).
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with Public Sector Clients and MEDDPICC is desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute territory plans and account strategies with the sales team.
Evangelise Commvault’s solutions to expand opportunities and engage stakeholders.
Identify and drive new sales opportunities with Account Management.
Provide technical guidance throughout discovery, evaluation, and proposals.
Participate in PoV creation and cloud architecture discussions.
Present messaging to C‑suite executives and deliver product demonstrations.
Enable channel and alliance partners and stay current with industry trends.
Share customer feedback with Product Management to shape innovations.
