Job summary

Kingston Human Capital is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a government Infrastructure Command based in Brisbane, Australia. You will coordinate delivery, monitoring and reporting of capital works projects and maintenance programs across the department.

Qualifications

• Experience in program and project management.
• Knowledge of asset management and strategic asset planning.
• Strong understanding of capital works planning and delivery.
• Advanced experience in financial data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver projects within timeframes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reports and briefs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily capital works activities, monitor project delivery and resolve issues.
• Advise on program performance, project progress, risks and issues.
• Coordinate projects with capital works frameworks and financial standards.
• Provide advice to government representatives and stakeholders on capital works.
• Conduct research and provide recommendations to support decisions.
• Prepare ministerial and departmental correspondence and Cabinet submissions.
• Develop financial, facilities management and capital works reports for leadership.
• Monitor implementation of capital works recommendations and actions.
• Engage business units in strategic planning and performance measurement.
• Collect, analyse and report feedback on facilities and asset services.
• Collaborate with other agencies on cross-agency infrastructure initiatives.
