Job summary

Alliance Automation is seeking a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support and improve our IT environments across multiple sites in Australia. You will own complex technical work, provide senior escalation support, and deliver infrastructure, network, endpoint and Microsoft 365 outcomes.

Essential Experience and Capability

The successful candidate will have substantial hands‑on experience in infrastructure or senior systems engineering roles, including responsibility for business‑critical systems in Microsoft cloud and hybrid environments.

Experience with:

• Firewalls, switching, and routing
• VLANs, VPNs, and network segmentation
• Wireless network design, deployment, and optimisation
• Network security, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and dynamic routing protocols
• Network monitoring, diagnostics, and capacity planning
• VMware vSphere and virtualisation technologies
• Microsoft Hyper‑V environments
• Enterprise storage and SAN/NAS platforms
• Backup, recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions
• Infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and performance management platforms
