Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking an Information Management Specialist to partner with teams across the PTA, guiding complex records management, metadata improvement, and digitisation initiatives. The role emphasizes practical solutions and collaboration to ensure information is accessible, trustworthy and valuable.
The successful candidate will drive retention and disposal strategies, support training and adoption of new digital information systems, and work to keep information
Every organisation has information that tells its story. Some records capture important decisions, others preserve history, and many ensure compliance and accountability. We're looking for someone who understands that effective information management is about more than filing documents. It's about making information accessible, trustworthy, and valuable to the business.
In this role, you'll become a key partner to teams across the Public Transport Authority, helping them navigate complex records and information management challenges. With your experience in EDRMS, strong understanding of retention and disposal requirements, and natural ability to solve problems, you'll provide practical solutions that improve the way information is managed and used. Whether you're resolving complex records issues, improving metadata quality, supporting digitisation projects, or guiding stakeholders towards best practice, you'll play an important role in ensuring our information remains accurate, compliant, and fit for purpose.
As we continue to advance our digital systems initiatives, we're looking for someone who embraces innovation and sees opportunity in change. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, championing better information management practices, supporting training and adoption, and helping shape the future of our digital information environment. If you're a critical thinker, a relationship builder, and someone who enjoys turning complex challenges into practical solutions, we'd love to hear from you.
