Job summary

UNSW is seeking a Senior Industry Engagement Officer (Domestic) to strengthen industry partnerships and connect work-integrated learning with student employability. The role focuses on building pipelines, delivering internship and mentoring opportunities and aligning programs with industry needs.

You will collaborate with Business School and AGSM teams, understand workforce trends, and provide data-driven insights to keep Career Accelerator programs relevant and industry-leading.

Qualifications

• Experience in relationship management with measurable results.
• Ability to identify prospective partners and convert them to opportunities.
• Strong communication, networking and presentation skills.
• Understanding industry needs and workforce trends.
• Ability to translate insights into program improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage industry partners for WIL and career development opportunities.
• Build and manage a pipeline from initial contact to active engagement.
• Grow partnerships across internships, practicum courses, mentoring and other activities.
• Collaborate with employers and Business School staff to deliver opportunities.
• Track engagement, outcomes and provide performance reports.
• Represent UNSW Business School at industry events and forums.
• Provide industry insights to strengthen Career Accelerator programs.
