UNSW Business School is seeking a Senior Industry Engagement Officer (Domestic) to grow industry partnerships and align career offerings with employer needs. This externally focused role combines business development, relationship management and industry insight to build opportunities for students and AGSM.

Qualifications

• Experience in relationship management or business development with proven results.
• Ability to identify prospective industry partners and develop opportunities through to delivery.
• Strong relationship-management skills with employers, academics and staff.
• Understanding of industry needs and workforce trends; ability to translate insights into actions.
• Excellent communication, networking and presentation abilities.
• Project management and organisational skills with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective industry partners for WIL and career opportunities.
• Build and manage a pipeline from initial contact to active engagement.
• Lead processes to extend industry relationships and expand opportunities for students.
• Grow partnerships through internships, practicum, mentoring and other activities.
• Develop strong relationships with employers and work with staff across the School.
• Understand industry needs and workforce trends to advise on programs.
• Turn insights into recommendations to enhance Career Accelerator offerings.
• Track activity and report outcomes to support planning and continuous improvement.
• Represent UNSW Business School at relevant industry events and forums.
