Job summary

Breville Group, based in Sydney, seeks a Senior Industrial Designer to lead design execution on complex product programs. You will mentor junior designers, drive design quality, and align design direction with brand and business goals.

You will apply advanced CAD modelling, DFA/DFM expertise, and deep knowledge of manufacturing processes to deliver exceptional user experiences while collaborating with engineers, researchers, and suppliers across the product development cycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product design with leadership in complex projects.
• Qualification: tertiary in Industrial Design or related field.
• Expert in CAD, DFM, DFA, manufacturing processes, and user research.

Responsibilities

• Lead design execution of complex projects balancing desirability, viability, and feasibility.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to team culture and design maturity.
• Collaborate across disciplines with engineers, PDMs, and suppliers to deliver outcomes.
