Job summary

SEC Victoria is seeking a senior security engineer to support enterprise identity, access management and cloud security across Azure and AWS. You will collaborate with GRC, Architecture, Application & Cloud Security, and Technology teams to deliver practical controls and a resilient security posture.

The role emphasizes automation, incident response leadership, and secure CI/CD practices, with hybrid work across Melbourne's CBD and Morwell, and a chance to influence Victoria's energy future.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IAM capabilities including joiner/mover/leaver processes.
• Hands-on with M365 E5 security technologies and related security monitoring.
• Ability to automate security capabilities using PowerShell, Python, APIs, Graph, KQL and IaC.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience across identity security, cloud security and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and enhance enterprise identity & security engineering across the org.
• Strengthen identity governance, privileged access and authentication controls.
• Automate and integrate security capabilities and telemetry.
• Provide senior technical leadership during investigations and security incidents.
• Drive cloud, app and security control engineering across Azure, AWS and CI/CD.
