Job summary

icare is seeking a Senior Security Services Engineer in Sydney to lead enterprise security engineering across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will own complex security initiatives end-to-end, from design through implementation and ongoing improvement, collaborating with cyber security, cloud, infrastructure and architecture teams.

You'll drive automation, evaluate emerging security capabilities including AI-enabled analytics, and mentor colleagues to build capability across the security

Qualifications

• Significant experience in cyber security engineering or similar senior security roles.
• Hands-on design and implementation of enterprise security technologies.
• Experience delivering large-scale security uplift or transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, integration and lifecycle management of enterprise security technologies across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Shape and deliver security controls to strengthen cyber resilience.
• Explore, evaluate and pilot emerging security capabilities including AI-enabled analytics.
• Lead complex security initiatives end to end from design to adoption.
• Automate security processes using scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to embed security into solutions.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex issues and incidents.
• Mentor engineers and analysts to build capability.
