Smartgroup Corporation is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in Australia to lead IAM, cloud security, and hybrid infrastructure initiatives within the Infrastructure Team. You will design, implement, and secure Azure-based solutions across cloud and on-premises environments to deliver scalable, compliant services.

Responsibilities include driving cloud adoption, implementing IAM controls (SSO, MFA, RBAC, PIM), and automating deployment with IaC and CI/CD.

Competenze

Extensive hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and hybrid infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of IAM including SSO, MFA, RBAC and PIM.
Experience with cloud security monitoring and governance tools.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Intune for device management.
Relevant Microsoft cloud, security, compliance or identity certifications.

Mansioni

Design, implement and maintain secure, scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.
Drive the adoption of cloud services across the organisation, ensuring security, governance and compliance requirements are embedded from the outset.
Lead Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives, including Azure Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), RBAC and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
Implement and optimise cloud security solutions including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel and Endpoint Protection technologies.
Automate infrastructure deployment and management through Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices to improve consistency and efficiency.
Partner with architecture, development and security teams to enhance cloud security, compliance, reliability and operational performance.
