Job summary

Pilbara IT Services Pty Ltd in South Hedland, WA, is seeking an experienced ICT Support Engineer to support the stability, security and performance of ICT systems, networks and business applications.

The role develops technical support procedures, investigates complex faults, and provides high-level guidance on networks, operating systems, hardware, software and security while strengthening system reliability and support standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT, CS, Network Engineering, or ICT Systems.
• Minimum 2 years in Level 2/3 ICT support and incident handling.
• Experience with Windows Server, AD, Entra ID, and M365.
• Strong TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN and firewall skills.
• Experience with virtualization and backup/recovery environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ICT support procedures and diagnostic workflows.
• Diagnose and resolve faults across servers, desktops, OS, networks, and apps.
• Investigate recurring incidents using event logs and network diagnostics.
• Install and upgrade ICT infrastructure, hardware, software and security.
• Assess LAN/WAN, routing, VPN, DNS, DHCP and firewall issues.
• Support identity and email administration within client environments.
• Coordinate system changes, testing, patching and recovery activities.
• Prepare system specifications, diagrams, and maintenance records.
