Job summary

Optus is seeking an experienced Operational Architect to provide expert ICT guidance across networks, data centre, cloud, and security. You will design, review, and cost solutions while aligning with customer requirements and lifecycle changes.

You will lead end-to-end solution development, mentor teams, and collaborate with Sales to craft value-driven architectures. A strong background in enterprise networks and AWS/Azure is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of senior ICT experience, including 3+ years in pre-sales or Embedded/Operational Architect roles for enterprise customers.
• Proven ability to develop technical designs, BOMs, proposals and change requests while maintaining architectural integrity.
• Strong background in managed services, corporate networks, operational support, troubleshooting and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance and governance for converged network solutions.
• Lead end-to-end solution development and ensure quality and delivery outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales and customers to identify opportunities and present technical visions at executive level.
• Offer Level 3 technical support and architectural guidance for operational issues and improvements.
• Mentor and develop teams, driving continuous learning and improved profitability.
