Job summary

Optus Enterprise is seeking a senior network security expert to design and govern secure network architectures, ensuring alignment with security standards. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive improvements, and mentor others while supporting incident response and risk assessments.

Responsibilities include designing firewall solutions, migrations, and enforcing best practices across Fortinet and Check Point platforms, with a focus on high-availability and secure end-to-end designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in telecommunications or large enterprises.
• Strong Fortinet and Check Point expertise.
• Solid understanding of fault management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, governance, and management of secure network architectures.
• Design and implement firewall solutions using Fortinet and Check Point.
• Provide Tier-3 support to resolve complex security incidents.
• Translate requirements into scalable firewall designs and migrations.
• Collaborate with Network, Cyber Security, and Operations teams.
