Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a Senior Deployment Technician to deliver technology deployment and refresh activities across Queensland Health sites, providing high-quality customer service and technical support to ensure successful outcomes for all users.

You will work closely with the Deployment Coordinator on device preparation, deployment, installation, stock management and replacement activities, while applying eHealth incident management practices and contributing to asset records.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage ICT environments across technical domains.
• Ability to deliver high-quality ICT support with workload management and unsupervised work.
• Ability to identify and resolve ICT problems within defined SLAs.
• Mentoring of junior staff to enhance client service in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication for system documentation and reports.
• Ability to quickly learn ServiceNow and ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technology deployment and refresh activities across Queensland Health sites.
• Support device preparation, deployment, installation, stock management and replacement activities per established work processes.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, apply eHealth incident management practices and maintain service levels.
• Contribute to asset management through accurate record keeping and participate in asset activities.
• Provide onsite and remote ICT support to Queensland Health sites as required, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure reliable services.
