Job summary

Beaver Williams in Sydney seeks an experienced Service Technician to join our HVAC service team. You will perform fault-finding, repairs and preventive maintenance across VRV/VRF systems, and provide technical guidance to junior techs in the field.

This senior role requires autonomous work, strong communication, time management and a commitment to safety, with opportunities to mentor peers and contribute to high-quality service for commercial and industrial clients.

Qualifications

• Must hold Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills are essential.
• VRV/VRF experience required; chiller experience is highly regarded.
• Current ArcTick Licence (RAC01) and a valid Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety compliance is a key responsibility.
• Perform fault-finding, repairs and preventive maintenance across HVAC systems.
• Record information necessary to quote on repairs identified onsite.

Role

Our HVAC Service Department is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a technician who is passionate about delivering high-quality service, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in problem-solving and customer satisfaction.

Working across a range of complex HVAC and mechanical services systems, you'll be responsible for fault-finding, repairs, maintenance while providing technical support and guidance to other technicians in the field. Recording information necessary to quote on repairs identified onsite will also be required. This is senior role combining hands-on technical work and the opportunity to support other technicians.

Minimum 3+ years of VRV/VRF experience required.
