Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a major high voltage transmission project in Western Australia. You will direct a multidisciplinary team of engineers and supervisors, overseeing subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or an equivalent linework/industrial electrical qualification, with 10+ years of leadership on large projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering or trade qualification required for linework or industrial electrical work.
• Front line leadership qualification is highly desirable.
• Minimum 10 years in a leadership role on a major project.
• Experience delivering major high voltage transmission line projects.
• Strong track record leading engineering, construction and field crews.
• Experience managing high-risk activities in complex environments.
• Sound understanding of construction methodology, budget and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end construction delivery of a major high voltage transmission project.
• Direct a multidisciplinary team of engineers and supervisors.
• Oversee subcontractors to meet quality, budget and schedule targets.
• Develop and manage the contract program, track delays and extensions of time.
• Identify, assess and mitigate construction risks across the project lifecycle.
