Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Construction Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of a major high-voltage transmission project in Western Australia. You will direct a multidisciplinary team, oversee subcontractors, and ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence across the project lifecycle.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will manage construction methodology, quality and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on risk mitigation and program delivery for the Clean Energy Link North program in WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or a Trade Qualification in Linework/Industrial Electrical is required.
• Front line leadership qualification is highly desirable.
• Minimum 15 years' leadership experience on a major project.
• Experience delivering high voltage transmission line projects and leading engineering/construction crews.
• Sound understanding of construction methodology, budget and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Set construction methodology and plans meeting budget and design requirements.
• Identify and manage design and construction risk with mitigation strategies.
• Track quantities and costs to protect budget accuracy.
• Develop and manage the contract program and assess delays/extensions of time.
• Build strong relationships with client and project stakeholders.
• Lead construction delivery of major transmission works.
• Manage subcontractors to meet quality and program targets.
• Track project risk and apply mitigation strategies.
