Job summary
ACCIONA in Australia seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design high‑voltage transmission lines and support infrastructure. You will prepare drawings, reports and specifications, apply Safety in Design, and coordinate across disciplines to ensure safe, sustainable outcomes.
The role requires 4+ years in HV transmission design (220kV+), advanced PLS-CADD skills, and knowledge of HV systems and standards. A Chartered status is desirable and will be pursued if needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; Chartered Status desirable or achievable within 6 months.
- 4+ years’ senior experience in transmission line design (220kV+).
- Advanced PLS-CADD skills (preferably to 500kV); working knowledge of PLS-Tower.
- Understanding of HV transmission, substations, and applicable standards.
- Skilled in preparing clear, accurate reports, drawings, schedules, and specifications.
