Job summary

EPEC Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee planning, execution and delivery of complex renewable energy projects including high voltage substations, transmission lines and BESS works in Brisbane.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead project teams from proposal through to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines and budgets while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, project management, or a related field.
• General Construction Induction is required.
• PMP or equivalent risk/contract management certifications are highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of comprehensive project plans, proposals, deliverables, timelines and resources.
• Own project scope, objectives and success criteria with senior leadership.
• Lead the proposal process and ensure competitive, accurate bids.
• Identify risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
• Lead budget estimation and cost management during proposals.
• Provide strategic leadership to project teams to deliver on time, on budget and to high quality.
• Oversee schedules, resource allocation and budget management.
• Conduct site visits to resolve issues and engage stakeholders.
• Deliver high-level reporting on status, milestones and risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and manage expectations.
• Maintain project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Mentor and coach project staff; support WHS obligations and hazard identification.
