Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven track record delivering utility-scale BESS and HV/EHV projects through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Strong experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement and commercial risk.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project engineers, technical specialists and site teams while managing client and stakeholder relationships.

With a strong pipeline of BESS and HV/EHV substation projects, the business is strengthening its project delivery team to support continued growth and successful project outcomes.

Your New Role

As the Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of utility scale BESS and HV substation projects, from planning through construction, commissioning, whole plant testing and handover.

You will lead a team of Project Engineers, SME engineers and site resources, managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of utility scale BESS and HV substation projects from planning through construction, commissioning and handover
• Lead and coordinate Project Engineers, SME engineers and site resources to achieve project delivery objectives
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, risks and contractual obligations
• Coordinate civil, electrical, construction and commissioning teams, resolving technical and delivery issues
• Manage subcontractors, consultants, clients and internal stakeholders while overseeing procurement, cost forecasting and commercial performance

Your Experience

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Civil or Electrical Engineering degree required
• Proven experience delivering utility scale BESS and/or HV/EHV substation projects through construction, commissioning and handover
• Strong project management experience across budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement and commercial risk
• Demonstrated ability to lead Project Engineers, technical specialists and site teams while managing client and stakeholder relationships
• Experience across both BESS and HV/EHV substation projects will be highly regarded
