Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions GmbH is seeking an experienced HV Construction Manager to lead on-site construction and site execution of High Voltage infrastructure for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects across Australia.

You will manage HV substations, GIS/AIS switchgear, transformers, cabling, and grid connection activities from mobilization to energization, ensuring safety, schedule, cost, and quality in line with project requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of HV construction experience.
Experience with large-scale EPC projects delivering HV infrastructure.
Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all on-site HV construction activities.
Oversee HV substations, transformers, GIS/AIS switchgear, protection and control systems, HV cables, and grid connection facilities.
Ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality in accordance with project requirements.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, client representatives, and multidisciplinary teams.
Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to meet milestones.
Lead site coordination meetings and interface with clients and utilities.
