Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions GmbH seeks an Electrical Site Engineer for Australia & New Zealand on large-scale PV and BESS projects. You will supervise electrical construction, review drawings, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires a strong background in MV/LV systems, transformers, protection, and SCADA, with 5+ years in utility-scale projects and travel flexibility. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in utility-scale Solar PV, BESS, substations, or power projects.
• Proven supervision experience on EPC electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV systems, transformers, protection, SCADA.
• Good understanding of international electrical codes and IEC standards.
• Fluent English; willing to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical construction activities on site per specs, quality and safety.
• Review drawings, specs, method statements and technical docs before execution.
• Monitor MV/LV system installations, transformers, switchgear, inverters and battery systems.
