Field Mining Services Group is seeking an experienced HSEQ leader to drive safety, quality and compliance across East Coast operations. This hands-on role blends strategy with field delivery, coaching operational leaders and leading HSEQ improvements.

You will manage audits, investigations and ISO certifications while travelling to client sites and leading a small HSEQ team. Strong communication and pragmatic problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in a senior HSEQ leadership role within mining, heavy industry, construction or maintenance.
• Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO management systems.
• Experience managing audits, investigations and integrated management systems.
• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach.
• The ability to influence others through trust, knowledge and visible leadership.

Responsabilités

• Lead the East Coast HSEQ team and mentor staff.
• Partner with operational leaders to strengthen safety culture and performance.
• Coach supervisors and managers in risk management and field leadership activities.
• Drive continual improvement initiatives across the business.
• Provide trusted advice to senior leadership on HSEQ matters.
• Maintain and improve the HSEQ Management System and ensure compliance.
