Job summary

McCosker Contracting Pty Ltd in Western Australia is seeking a Senior HSE Compliance Officer for a FIFO project on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster. You will develop and implement safety and quality procedures to improve compliance with state and national requirements.

You will engage with site leaders and workers to enforce McCosker safety standards, manage risk, incident investigations, and drive a positive safety culture while supporting project goals.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in workplace health and safety as a minimum.
• Open Driver's Licence.
• General Construction Induction (White Card).
• Experience in WHS advisory or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of the WHS framework, including legislation and best practice guides.
• Well developed written and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the civil construction industry (desirable).
• Able to develop, implement, and evaluate high quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage risk and drive a positive safety culture.
• Provide HSE supervision of operations to meet project deliverables.
• Monitor and manage compliance with safety processes.
• Assist to provide rehabilitation services for employees returning to the workforce.
• Participate in policies and procedures, including work health and safety.
