Job summary

Primero Group is seeking a HSE officer for a site-based role in Perth, Western Australia. You will ensure health, safety, and environment standards are met on a newly awarded project.

This position requires a Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety and a minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry. Ideal candidates will have site experience and various health and safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years' experience within the construction industry.
• Demonstrated site experience in a similar role.
• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen.

Responsibilities

• Directing and controlling all activities to meet HSE and quality expectations.
• Undertaking daily HSE inspections and observations on site.
• Coach and guide HSR’s in their legislative HSE requirements.

Skills

Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety

3+ years' experience in construction

Incident Investigation Training (ICAM/Tap Root)

Education

Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety

Provide First Aid / CPR certificate
