Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join a major defence infrastructure project on a remote site in Western Australia. This hands-on, FIFO role focuses on maintaining WHS compliance, risk management, and incident investigations while supporting project teams and subcontractors.

The project is minimum 12 months with potential for ongoing work; you will work with a large national contractor with extensive resources and a 15:6 FIFO roster.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience on major infrastructure or complex civil construction projects.
• Site-based HSE role with strong WHS knowledge.
• Strong risk assessment, inspections and incident investigation capabilities.
• Confident engaging with project teams, subcontractors and site personnel to drive safety outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead WHS compliance, risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations on site.
• Collaborate with project management, supervisors and subcontractors to maintain safety standards.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and report on safety metrics.
