Job summary

First People Recruitment Solutions is partnering with Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) in Sydney CBD NSW to appoint an Associate Director - Performance and Partnering. This leader will guide the Performance and Partnering team within IBA’s PPC Directorate, providing strategic HR advice on industrial relations, workforce consultation, performance, change, and safety.

The successful candidate will drive enterprise bargaining, lead a high-performing People Partnering function, and ensure

Qualifications

Deep knowledge of industrial relations legislation and employment law.
Experience advising senior executives on HR strategy and policy.
Ability to lead enterprise bargaining and workforce change initiatives.
Experience fostering inclusive workplaces and engaging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic, risk-based HR advice to senior executives on policies and enterprise agreements.
Lead Enterprise Agreement bargaining when required, from planning to implementation.
Oversee a high-performing People Partnering function ensuring consistent application of policies.
Ensure consultation requirements are met through effective employee and union engagement.
Promote a proactive safety culture focused on prevention and continuous improvement.
