Job summary

Randstad HR Partners seeks a senior HR leader to drive people operations, advisory services, and global systems modernization from the Sydney base. You will own service delivery across the employee lifecycle, lead enterprise programs, and champion AI automation with strong governance.

You will manage 5 direct reports, oversee Dayforce/SuccessFactors/Power BI integration, and partner with executives to shape strategic workforce plans. A proactive, data-driven mindset is essential.

Job description

The Role

This is a true HR leadership and operations role that goes far beyond traditional management. Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture, you will lead a team spanning business partnering, advisory, talent acquisition, and systems. You will own P&C service delivery across the employee lifecycle, drive enterprise-wide people programs, and lead the continued modernisation of the function through HR tech, workforce analytics, and AI automation.

• P&C Operations & Service Delivery: Own service standards across the employee lifecycle, driving a self-service first model to optimise team workflows, response times, and candidate/employee experience.


• Digital, AI & Analytics Integration: Lead the performance and optimisation of enterprise systems (Dayforce, Acorn, SuccessFactors). Build business cases for workflow automation and AI adoption (e.g., Copilot/ChatGPT/Power Automate) while directing Power BI workforce analytics to inform executive decisions.


• Enterprise People Programs: Directly design and deliver core programs-including performance management, remuneration frameworks, and strategic workforce planning-ensuring alignment with organisational strategy.


• Employee Relations & Escalation: Serve as the senior escalation point for complex ER matters, providing expert direction on risk, procedural fairness, legislative compliance (Fair Work Act, WHS, psychosocial safety), and P&C policy governance.


• Talent Acquisition Leadership: Oversee end-to-end recruitment operations through the TA Lead, ensuring scalable hiring models, optimized Dayforce candidate tracking, and top-tier candidate experience.


• People Leadership: Coach, mentor, and build capability across a team of 5 direct reports, embedding a culture of accountability, technology adoption, and continuous learning.

You build immediate credibility with senior stakeholders, communicate with transparency, and bring deep expertise in HR operations and people systems. You have hands‑on experience optimising major HCM platforms, driving process automation and exploring practical AI applications in HR with appropriate data governance.
