Job summary

The Onset is seeking a Senior People & Culture Partner to shape and strengthen our growing technology business. This hands-on role blends business partnering, lifecycle management and the delivery of key People initiatives.

You will partner with managers and senior leaders across a broad range of people matters, advising independently and influencing outcomes to drive resolution and improvements across onboarding, offboarding, performance, and recruitment processes.

Qualifications

• Broad generalist P&C experience across multiple HR domains.
• Ability to advise senior leaders and partners independently.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
• Proven track record of driving HR initiatives in growing businesses.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced P&C generalist who can hit the ground running across a broad range of people matters.

You'll be comfortable independently advising senior leaders, navigating complex employee matters and making recommendations when the answer isn't always clear-cut.

Just as importantly, you'll take ownership - forming your own view, recommending an approach and driving it through to an outcome, even when there is resistance or a lack of follow-through.

You'll bring:

• Broad generalist People & Culture experience


• Experience independently managing complex employee relations and performance matters


• Strong experience partnering with and advising senior leaders


• Confidence constructively challenging stakeholders and influencing outcomes


• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation


• Sound judgement when navigating ambiguous or less clear-cut people matters


• A track record of taking ownership and driving things through to resolution


• Experience improving P&C processes and ways of working


• Comfort working in a growing environment where processes are still evolving
