Job summary

Mai Wiru Regional Stores Council Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a senior Manager of People, Culture & HR Services to provide consistent HR support across stores and corporate operations, enhance compliance, and build a fee-earning HR services capability using Employment Hero.

This role requires substantial generalist HR experience, strong stakeholder coaching, and the ability to navigate remote locations, with travel to remote communities and a National Police Check.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR experience including ER, recruitment, policy, and HR systems.
• Knowledge of Australian workplace relations and WHS obligations.
• Ability to work independently and handle a varied caseload.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, coaching, and written communication.
• Willingness to travel to remote locations and obtain a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end employee life cycle services and workforce planning.
• Oversee HR compliance framework including contracts, policies, payroll inputs, and audits.
• Lead Employment Hero governance and data quality dashboards.
• Deliver fee-earning HR advisory services to remote supermarkets and clubs.
• Manage employee relations including investigations and grievances.
• Coach managers and promote culturally safe people practices.
• Collaborate with executives, boards and external clients.
