Tandem Partners Pty Ltd. is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR support with a strong ER/IR focus across Victoria and Tasmania, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The role is hands-on, partnering with operational leaders and site teams to manage employee relations, investigations and leadership coaching. You will work with general managers and frontline teams to deliver practical people solutions, navigate enterprise agreements and drive capability, change and workforce

Qualifications

• Experienced HRBP/HR Manager with operational/blue-collar workforce experience.
• Extensive experience managing complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise agreements and industrial relations frameworks.
• Experience supporting unionised and EA-covered workforces.
• Ability to build credibility with senior leaders and frontline employees.

Join a leading organisation within the construction materials and infrastructure sector, supporting large operational workforces across Victoria and Tasmania on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering, you will support a workforce that is predominantly operational and site-based, with a significant EA coverage and active union presence.

You will partner with General Managers, operational leaders and frontline teams to deliver practical, commercially focused people solutions. You'll play a key role in supporting leaders through complex employee relations matters, building leadership capability and driving effective people outcomes across geographically dispersed operations.

This role covers the full HR lifecycle, with the majority of the focus on employee and industrial relations. This opportunity would suit a seasoned HRBP or HR Manager who enjoys complex case management, investigations and supporting leaders in operational environments.

• Experience supporting unionised and EA-covered workforces.
• The ability to build credibility with both senior leaders and frontline employees.
• Strong coaching and influencing capability, particularly around performance and conduct matters.
• A commercially minded, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
• Confidence working autonomously, navigating ambiguity and driving outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
