Job summary

EGS Survey Australia is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join the leadership team and drive effective people practices across the business. You’ll own HR systems, processes and documentation with support from external consultants, in a hands-on role.

Office-based at Fremantle with occasional travel to Henderson facility; 38-hour onshore week, Mon–Fri. Reporting to Operations Manager and GM, you’ll shape policies and support managers on performance, disputes and change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ demonstrated experience in an HR Advisor or similar role.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources (or equivalent experience).
• Sound understanding of the Fair Work jurisdiction and modern awards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
• Eligible to work in Australia; full Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain employment contracts, HR policies, procedures and core documentation.
• Establish and embed practical HR frameworks, systems and internal processes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on HR matters that impact operations and performance.
• Lead or support organisational change initiatives.
• Provide workplace relations support, including preparing written correspondence and assisting with meeting preparation.
• Guide managers through performance management, goal-setting and underperformance handling.
• Support fair, consistent disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Coach and train managers on key HR topics and policies.
