Job summary

Enaex Australia is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join our People team in Perth. You will provide ER/IR guidance across a dispersed workforce, manage complex employee matters, and support enterprise bargaining, policy governance and HR projects with leaders at all levels.

You will partner with site leaders, navigate industrial instruments, and travel regularly to operational locations, delivering practical people strategies in a dynamic mining and manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Employment Law or related discipline.
• Strong HR experience with Employee Relations and Industrial Relations in a complex environment.
• Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements, Awards and Australian employment legislation.
• Experience supporting geographically dispersed, multi-site or unionised workforces, ideally within mining, resources, manufacturing, logistics or heavy industry.
• Strong coaching and influencing skills with the credibility to partner with leaders at all levels.
• Autonomous worker with the ability to travel regularly to operational sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and commercially sound ER and IR advice, managing complex employee matters including investigations, grievances, performance, misconduct and disciplinary processes.
• Interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements, Awards, employment legislation and HR policies, identifying and managing emerging people and industrial risks.
• Coach leaders through difficult conversations, performance management, investigations, consultation obligations and broader people management challenges.
• Lead the review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and governance frameworks, ensuring they remain practical, compliant and fit for purpose.
• Support organisational change, enterprise bargaining activities and HR projects, taking ownership of assigned workstreams through to delivery.
• Build strong relationships across operational sites, providing visible HR support while identifying opportunities to strengthen systems, processes and leadership capability.
