Keller Executive Search is partnering with a specialist Australian mining infrastructure company to appoint a Head of Project Controls on the Sunshine Coast. You will establish project performance frameworks and oversee cost management, scheduling and reporting across the development portfolio.

The role offers senior leadership exposure, governance oversight, and the opportunity to influence major infrastructure investments for a growing mining sector. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of project controls experience in mining, infrastructure or major capital projects.
• Experience managing project schedules, cost controls and performance reporting.
• Strong knowledge of project control methodologies and project governance practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or comparable scheduling systems.

Responsabilités

• Establish project controls standards and reporting frameworks for major infrastructure developments.
• Oversee integrated project schedules, cost forecasts and progress reporting.
• Monitor project performance against approved budgets, milestones and delivery targets.
• Implement change management and project control procedures.
• Lead project cost estimation, contingency analysis and financial progress tracking.
• Identify schedule delays, cost exposure and emerging delivery risks.
• Coordinate project performance reporting for executive management and investment stakeholders.
• Manage project controls personnel and external project management consultants.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction and commercial teams to maintain accurate project data.
• Improve project controls systems, reporting accuracy and forecasting processes.
