Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer IV to join a team building next‑generation phased array antenna payloads in Redmond, WA.

You will own end‑to‑end hardware designs, from architecture through bring‑up, working across multi‑board systems with high‑layer counts and high‑speed SERDES. The role emphasizes collaboration with layout, systems, and customer teams, strict attention to signal integrity, and careful documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing high-speed digital hardware.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, Ethernet.
• Own hardware designs end-to-end from architecture to bring-up.
• Strong documentation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware design for next-generation phased array antenna payloads.
• Own schematic capture across multi-board systems (up to three boards).
• Coordinate with PCB layout teams and cross-functional engineers.
• Support board bring-up and debugging activities; bring-up timeline includes Nov/Dec.
