Tycho.AI is seeking an Electrical Engineer with board development and RF expertise to join our hardware team and help design, build, and deploy the hardware that powers our autonomous air vehicles.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 3+ years of experience in electrical design, PCB design, and RF hardware, with proficiency in Altium and hands-on field testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in electrical design, prototyping, and manufacturing.
• Experience with Altium and RF hardware components.

Responsibilities

• Select components based on mission, electrical, thermal, and mechanical needs.
• Design electrical board assemblies.
• Perform board layout, sourcing and purchasing, programming, testing, and debug.
• Perform RF link budget and bandwidth analyses based on mission needs.
• Select components and design RF chain.
• Implement encoding and compression algorithms.
