CMW Geosciences in Perth seeks an Associate/Principal Geotechnical Tailings Engineer to lead and deliver Tailings Storage Facility projects. The role requires high-level technical review, leadership, and mentoring of junior engineers, with close collaboration with the Perth leadership group and broader geotechnical team.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of geotechnical consulting experience.
• Extensive Tailings Storage Facility design experience from pre-feasibility through to construction and operations support.
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities for junior engineers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input, review and guidance on TSF design and related geotechnical projects.
• Lead and support project delivery from pre-feasibility through to detail design phases, and provide construction and operational support.
• Mentor and develop junior and intermediate level engineers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal project teams.
• Support business development through proactive client engagement, and proposals.
• Contribute to quality, safety, and technical excellence across Tailings projects.
