Job summary

Trusted and Iconic Australian Enterprise is seeking a Senior GCP Cloud Engineer to join its Cloud Platforms team within Digital Technology & Data. The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, cloud automation, DevOps and platform engineering to modernise cloud platform capability.

You will design, build and implement secure, scalable GCP solutions, including landing zones and platform services, and act as a GCP SME guiding cloud engineers.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with GCP and cloud platform engineering.
Design secure, scalable GCP solutions including landing zones.
Lead technical guidance and mentoring for cloud engineers.
Strong experience with GKE/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation focus.

Responsibilities

Design, build and implement secure, scalable GCP cloud platform solutions.
Act as a GCP SME providing technical leadership and mentoring.
Develop self-service provisioning and reusable platform services.
Lead remediation of cloud security vulnerabilities and compliance issues.
Drive IaC adoption and cloud-native practices across teams.
