Job summary
Gold Coast Health is seeking a Principal Software Developer to join the Digital Health and Innovation division on the Gold Coast. The role focuses on delivering scalable software and web applications within a cross-functional team across the full software development life cycle.
You will analyse, lead software development, provide technical direction, design enterprise software products, and ensure policy compliance. On-call arrangements and remuneration apply under the Award.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a full stack developer with front-end and back-end capabilities.
- Solid understanding of SDLC principles with practical experience delivering across the full lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Analyse, identify and formulate product and service improvements
- Lead and provide software development and related technical specialist support services
- Participate in a highly skilled technical team providing high-level technical direction
- Design and develop high quality enterprise software application products, components and services
- Manage and contribute to the development, publication, implementation and compliance to technical policies
