Job summary

Gold Coast Health in Southport, QLD is seeking a Principal Software Developer to join the Digital Health and Innovation division. The role focuses on leading software development, delivering high-quality enterprise applications and providing technical direction within a large health system.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary IT qualification, strong full stack development skills, SDLC expertise, and experience with Jira.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
Proven experience as a full stack developer with front-end and back-end capabilities.
Solid understanding of SDLC principles and delivering across the full lifecycle of software projects.
Experience using Jira to manage user stories, sprints, and delivery workflows.

Responsibilities

Analyse, identify and formulate product and service improvements.
Lead and provide software development and related technical specialist support services.
Participate in a highly skilled technical team providing high-level technical direction.
Design and develop high quality enterprise software application products, components and services.
Manage and contribute to development, publication, implementation and compliance of technical policies.
