Job summary

UBank seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a high-performing team building customer-centric digital experiences. You’ll own end-to-end features across the stack, from design to deployment, contributing to scalable, secure modern web applications.

You’ll collaborate with product, design and cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and help shape engineering direction. The role is Sydney-based with a hybrid working model and opportunities to influence technical direction.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience building modern front-end applications (Angular highly regarded).
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Mentoring or coaching other engineers.
• Understanding of software security principles and secure development practices.

Responsibilities

• Building modern web applications using TypeScript, Angular, and Node.js.
• Designing and delivering robust, scalable solutions to real business and customer problems.
• Writing high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code.
• Taking ownership of features end-to-end from design through deployment.
